Paris-Nice Challenge - a committed event!

February 28th 2018

As part of Paris-Nice Challenge, you are going to ride in the magnificent Nice hinterland.

Help us to preserve it and not leave waste along the way.

You will discover two waste collection areas: one before the climb of the Col de Châteauneuf and the other before the climb of the Côte de Peille.

Please throw your waste in them or wait until your reach the two feeding stations or the finish to dispose of your waste.

Additionally, you will find bins in the village and at the feeding stations where you can sort your waste, so don’t forget to do your bit.

We are counting on you!

You were the professionals!

March 12th 2016

Today was finally the big day! This morning on the Promenade des Anglais, the riders followed one another to set off on the first edition of the Paris-Nice Challenge and take up a great sporting challenge. Congratulations to all of you!

From 8am this Saturday, there was a rush of adrenaline when the 803 participants in the Paris-Nice Challenge set off to criss-cross the surrounding area and cover between 96 and 123 kilometres. You had to be courageous and willing to overcome the difficulties of the day, using leg power alone, as the 7th and final stage of Paris-Nice had some surprises in store for the amateur pack which explored the region’s roads and spectacular landscapes.

After an intense effort, the many brave riders, who had come to experience the race from a rider’s perspective, reached the finish with brilliant sunshine overhead. Each of you took up the challenge at your own pace, good-naturedly, with a smile on your face. Congratulations to all of you!

Now it’s time to recover and make way for the professional race tomorrow!

D-1 before the big adventure!

March 11th 2016

In just a few hours, the starting signal for the Paris-Nice Challenge will be given on the Promenade des Anglais, to the delight of the many enthusiasts, who have come to test themselves on the final stage of the professional race. Enjoy this moment and have a great race!

On Friday the riders converged in Nice to come and recover their race numbers. Tomorrow the adventure will finally begin and you will be almost 1,000 participants setting off on the two routes on offer. The start of the 123km route will be at 8am and the 96km route at 9am. So get ready to experience an unforgettable moment as the region is preparing to open the doors of a unique sporting challenge to you, in the heart of magnificent landscapes!

And while the atmosphere is already great, the weather will also be good on Saturday. Indeed, the forecast is 16°C with clear skies. The temperature will be relatively low in the morning (around 8°C) so we recommend that you dress appropriately.

All the conditions have been brought together to allow you to experience an exceptional day, but in the meantime, it’s time to rest before the official race start! Tomorrow, you'll have to tackle the climbs and surpass yourself to take up a veritable challenge which will leave you feeling proud.

Have a good rest and we wish you all a great Paris-Nice Challenge!

D-2: take advantage of the last race numbers available!

March 10th 2016

The professional peloton set off from Conflans-Saint-Honorine on Saturday and will arrive in Nice on Saturday 12th March.

You too can ride on the route of the 7th and final stage of Paris—Nice which will leave from and finish on the Promenade des Anglais.

But don’t delay, registrations will close on Friday 11th March at 6.30pm and there are less than 250 race numbers available.
